All of our dog shoes are made from custom knitted textile mesh upper and natural rubber outsoles - the same materials you find in your favorite human sneakers!
Yes! All of our dog shoes are made with animal free-products and materials.
Our dog shoes are designed in Queens, NY and manufactured in Quanzhou, China.
Why not both?! There are dog shoes on the market that are functional, and there are some dog shoes on the market that look halfway decent, but there are definitely no dog shoes that can do both (until now). Our dog shoes are meant to protect your dog's paws on the hottest days and coldest nights, but also to turn your daily walks into the runway! The only thing we cannot prevent is the number of strangers stopping you and asking if they can take a picture of your dog in RIFRUF® shoes.
Our dog sneakers are secured by a velcro strap at the heel. The strap allows for a custom fit that accommodates most paws while locking the shoe in place.
Each time you use the dog shoes during the initial period, be sure to check the strap periodically to make sure the shoes stay secure.
The life of the product depends heavily on the frequency that your dog wears our dog shoes. If your dog is very active and wears RIFRUF® shoes on each walk, then your dog will be in need of a new set of dog shoes much more frequently than dogs who are less active and only occasionally wear dog shoes. Every dog is different, and the easiest way to tell if his/her dog shoes need to be replaced is by looking at the outsole. If the tread pattern has been worn down and smoothened out, then the dog shoe may need to be replaced. If you are unsure about whether your dog shoes need replacement, feel free to send us a picture of the shoe at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to provide you guidance.
RIFRUF® has tested our dog shoes across dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes. In nearly all cases, the Caesar 1S fits neatly over the dewclaw. If you would like a super dewclaw friendly shoe, we recommend the Caesar 1S model as the shoe fully covers the dewclaw in a soft mesh upper. If you are experiencing any issues with fitting our dog shoes over your dog's dew claw, contact us here and we will be happy to assist you.
We are so sorry to hear that your dog's paws are showing signs of irritation. The best way to prevent irritation is to slowly build up your dog's wear time with our dog shoes. As seen in our "Tips and Tricks to Put on Dog Shoes" video HERE, putting RIFRUF® dog sneakers on your dog will take some time to adjust to if your dog has never worn shoes before. We recommend being patient as possible and to slowly build up the time your dog wears dog shoes each day until they are capable of going on a full walk in them.
By doing this, not only does this give time for your dog to break in his or her RIFRUF® dog shoes, but it also gives you a chance to identify any points of irritation and troubleshoot. If irritation still persists, we recommend using bandaging to cover the irritation spots to help reduce any potential irritation going forward. It is common to see dogs do a funny high-step the first few times they wear dog shoes. No need to be concerned, as this is a natural reaction (imagine how confused you must have been as a baby when you put shoes on for the first time). As seen in our "Tips and Tricks to Put on Dog Shoes" video HERE, be very patient as your dog adjusts to wearing dog shoes. He/she will become a natural with constient practice!
When tightening the velcro strap around your dog's paw, we recommend leaving just a little bit of give in order to maintain a secure fit while giving the paw maximum circulation. Additionally, the upper materials of our dog shoes are made from a high quality mesh that provides breathability for your dog's paws.
We recommend not leaving dog shoes on for more than 2-3 hours. While RIFRUF® dog shoes protect your dog's paws, you will want to make sure that your dog's paws get some time to "cool off" and relax!

RIFRUF® dog shoes are a great way to keep your dog's paws clean even on the muddiest days. Like you would with your own shoes, make sure to wipe down your RIFRUF® dog shoes frequently when you bring them in to your home, especially if you live in an area with lots of dirt!
The real rubber outsoles of RIFRUF® dog shoes provide extra cushioning and support for older dogs, especially those that are showing hip and joint issues or signs of pad wear and tear. Our dog shoes also can prevent your dog's toes from being rubbed raw, especially for older dogs that drag their paws as they walk. RIFRUF® dog shoes are with your dog every step of the way.
RIFRUF® dog shoes are a great temporary solution for walking dogs when they have a bandage on. However if your dog is injured, we do not recommend wearing the shoe over the bandaged paw for long periods of time, as your dog's paw needs time to rest and heal. Please consult with your veterinarian before using shoes, as each dog's medical condition can vary on a case by case basis.

Note that recommended sizes by breed are based on average measurements and are NOT 100% guaranteed to fit your particular pup. Even if your dog's breed is included in our dog shoe size guide, we still highly recommend measuring your dog's paws to ensure the correct size.
Yes, we are able to accomodate different front and back paw sizes! Sizes with a "/" denote a split size, as in you receive 2 shoes in one size and 2 shoes in another. For example, a size 3/4 means you receive two shoes in size 3 and two shoes in size 4.
All of our dog shoes are machine washable. Simply put them in the wash in a laundry-safe mesh bag. After the washing process, leave them out to air-dry for at least 24 hours.
We understand that from time to time, your dog might get excited and tear up your beloved RIFRUF products. Unfortunately this isn't considered a part of regular wear and tear, nor is it a defect. Feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to see what we can do.
Yes, we ship internationally! For non-contiguous US and international orders, we offer $20 economy shipping (6 to 18 business days),$30 standard (6 to 12 business days) and $60 expedited shipping (1 to 5 business days) options. Note that international orders may be subject to duties upon delivery.

If you haven't received an email confirmation yet, there are a few things you can do:

If neither of those things work, send us an email. We'll help update you on your order status. To ensure delivery to your inbox, please add email@example.com to your address book and safe-sender list.
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email and tracking number. If it has been more than two business days since you placed your order and you still have not received a tracking number, send us an email and we will gladly assist you!
New tracking numbers can take up to 24 hours to activate from the time you receive your shipping confirmation. If it's been more than 24 hours and your tracking number still isn't working, send us an email and we'll help get you a status update!
Customers are responsible for inputting the correct delivery address for their order. In the event that your order has not shipped out yet, we may be able to update the address in time. Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if this is the case.
If your order has already shipped out, RIFRUF is not responsible for re-sending or refunding orders. If the package has been delivered to the incorrect address, RIFRUF recommends that customers place a new order.
If you are experiencing any trouble with delivery, please email us at email@example.com and we will see what we can do. Unfortunately we are not the carrier, so we cannot promise that we will know every detail of the tracking status.
If you ordered economy shipping, please note that economy orders occasionally have limited tracking services and a lack of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that your order has been lost or delayed.
We understand that it can be frustrating to order an item only to never receive it. That's why we offer Route Package Protection as an optional add-on to help ensure you receive all the items you purchased. Items that are purchased with Route Package Protection that never arrived will be re-shipped again. Unfortunately if you did not purchase Route Package Protection then we cannot offer a replacement as part of store policy. In these cases we would recommend reaching out to the carrier who shipped your item and submitting a claim.
We want you to LOVE the RIFRUF® dog sneakers you just copped! If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer exchanges and returns for contiguous US dog shoe orders so long as your items are in re-sellable condition (i.e. hair-free, dirt-free, unaltered, unwashed, undamaged, and with no marks on the mesh or wear on soles), and in their original packaging (i.e. shoe box is not folded, creased or torn, and with the tissue and sticker intact). We reserve the right to refuse exchanges or returns that do not meet the above criteria. Exchanged or returned orders that do not meet the above criteria will be charged a $10 shipping & handling fee and be sent back to the original recipient.
For dog shoes, all exchanges and returns must include all 4 dog shoes, including for split size orders.
For contiguous US orders, shipping for the first exchange is covered by RIFRUF. Shipping for returns is not covered by RIFRUF at this time. For non-contiguous US and Canada orders, we unfortunately cannot process exchanges at this time; if you need to change the size of your order, we recommend to return your order and re-order your new size. For non-contiguous US orders or Canada orders, shipping for returns is not covered by RIFRUF®.
All return and exchange requests must be submitted within 21 days of receiving your original order. Note that only the first exchange for your order is free; shipping for additional exchange requests is not covered by RIFRUF®.
Please allow up to 10 business days for returns to be processed back to your original form of payment once your order has been received by RIFRUF®.
We do not accept exchanges or returns for dog socks and other limited edition products at this time.

Once our warehouse has received your return, please allow up to 10 business days for a refund or store credit to be issued. If it has been longer than 10 business days, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number in the subject line.

Our shoes are sold as sets of 4. We unfortunately are unable to accommodate special requests for less than 4 shoes at this time.
In the event that your dog is disabled or has special needs and does not require all 4 shoes,while we cannot guarantee accommodation of your request, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a picture of your dog and your situation and we will see what we can do on a case-by-case basis.
